Our client, Platinum Credit Limited, is seeking experienced, commercially driven and results-oriented professionals to join its Agri-Maziwa Sales function as Agrifinance County Champions. The Agrifinance County Champions will be responsible for the planning, execution and coordination of business development strategy within their assigned regions while supporting sales performance, customer growth, market development, team leadership and staffing requirements. The successful candidates will be expected to drive business growth within their respective counties, lead and support sales personnel, identify viable markets, strengthen customer and stakeholder relationships, ensure compliance with company policies and standards, and support effective execution of the Agri-Maziwa business strategy. Career Progression: Successful candidates will be transitioned into Branch Manager roles after three (3) months. This provides an opportunity for experienced professionals with strong sales, business development and leadership capabilities to progress into branch-level management responsibility.
The successful candidate should possess:
A Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or a business-related field from a recognised institution.
Candidates should have:
At least six (6) years' relevant work experience.
At least three (3) of those years must have been in a managerial position.

Identify viable markets where the company can open branches within the region.
Implement effective sales strategies and lead sales personnel towards the attainment of sales, PAR, active associates and client-base targets.
Build and grow the customer base and expand business growth across new markets, products and services.
Identify opportunities that support continued business development and market expansion.
Lead sales personnel, including Branch Managers, Team Leaders and Loan Officers, towards achievement of assigned targets.
Establish and maintain systems that foster teamwork, employee empowerment and commitment to organisational goals.
Ensure teams are appropriately trained and mentored.
Manage the attrition rate of Loan Officers and Team Leaders through proper and coordinated training.
Ensure desired active-associate targets are achieved per branch.
Provide leadership and guidance to the regional team through effective planning, communication, training, mentoring and coaching.
Ensure the team remains aligned with company strategy and objectives.
Conduct continuous training, mentoring and coaching of the sales team across the region.
Maintain positive business relationships that support business continuity.
Build and strengthen relationships with customers and other relevant stakeholders.
Support customer growth and expansion into new markets, products and services.
Ensure a strong customer-service orientation across the region.
Ensure strict adherence to credit, collection and compliance policies.
Conduct regular branch visits to ensure proper operations and compliance with established company guidelines.
Monitor the performance of sales personnel against assigned targets.
Ensure loan rejection rates remain below 10% monthly through continuous review of rejection reports.
Identify and mitigate repeat or recurring causes of loan rejection.
Ensure continuous implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) to support effective and efficient service delivery.
Review, approve and ensure execution of marketing route plans.
Drive effective implementation of marketing activities within the assigned region.
Support market engagement activities designed to strengthen customer acquisition and business development.
Conduct regular visits to branches to monitor operations, compliance and sales performance.
Ensure the safekeeping of regional assets, including structures, equipment and inventory.
Oversee efficient utilisation of the allocated budget.
Ensure compliance with company requirements relating to assets and budget utilisation.
Lead by example and ensure adherence to integrity and high ethical standards by all staff within the region.
Provide effective leadership and guidance to regional teams.
Promote employee empowerment and commitment to organisational goals.
Ensure early bird sessions are conducted in all branches.
Foster succession planning through employee empowerment.
Maintain high employee energy levels and engagement across the region.
Manage the county and sub-county customer forum calendar.
Map county, sub-county and veterinary event calendars to ensure aligned and well-timed customer engagement across the region.
Work together with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to coordinate these engagements.
Drive marketing execution and forum logistics.
Support veterinary and agrovet data acquisition to maximise reach, turnout and quality of engagement at each forum.
Build and maintain a vets/agrovets acquisition database and engagement tracker.
Capture registrations, contacts, forum attendance and conversion information.
Use the database and engagement information to guide targeted follow-up.
Drive value addition for Agri customers across different weather and agricultural seasons.
Consider seasonal factors and challenges such as El Niño, milk production and low maize yields.
Commission seasonal papers and briefs from Agronomists covering the Maziwa and Viazi products.
Translate technical agricultural information into practical guidance and relevant new customer expectations.
The position requires effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
