Our client, a leading retail establishment in Kenya’s educational and literary sector, with a distinguished reputation for serving students, educators, and book enthusiasts across the country, is seeking to recruit a qualified and dynamic Sales Executive to work with their brand partner for their sales position.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Sales & Revenue Growth

Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities to achieve monthly and annual targets.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.

Present, promote, and sell products to prospective customers through persuasive communication and demonstrations.

Maximize upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management

Ensure excellent customer service delivery to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.

Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism.

Provide after-sales support and follow-up to ensure repeat business.
Market Development & Reporting

Conduct market research to identify customer needs, trends, and competitive activities.

Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.

Offer feedback and recommendations to improve product positioning and sales strategy.
Team Collaboration & Brand Representation

Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to align sales efforts.

Participate in promotional activities, product launches, and activations.

Represent the brand partner with professionalism, integrity, and customer focus.
Experience & Skills

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

2–3 years’ proven sales experience, preferably in retail, publishing, or FMCG sectors.

Strong record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Strong customer focus with the ability to build lasting relationships.

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing market conditions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM systems is an added advantage.
