About Eagle HR
The Eagle HR Consultants team at the Westlands office in Nairobi
We answer to auditors, not just HR managers
Work is built to hold up to board scrutiny and regulator review, because most of it already has. The named record includes the Central Bank of Kenya, KEBS, CMA, Kenya Re and KDC.
We fill the roles institutions cannot afford to fill wrong
In 2024 the firm recruited 150 graduate trainees for the Central Bank of Kenya, across several departments. Intern recruitment followed in 2025.
We do not leave after the report
From first hire to a running HR function, the same firm stays on the engagement. The firm currently runs HR outsourcing for 16 clients, with 2,300+ people on those contracts.

How we work

Method of engagement

Work is undertaken under a written proposal, following the sequence below.

  1. 01

    Briefing

The organisation, deadline, prior work and required outcome are established. Eagle HR then recommends the form of engagement.

  2. 02

    Proposal

Scope, deliverables, timetable and fees are confirmed in a written proposal. Work does not begin until those terms are agreed.

  3. 03

    Execution

The person on the proposal remains responsible for delivery and reports progress against the agreed milestones.

  4. 04

    Close-out

Working papers and deliverables are handed over. Any staff briefing or residual support is limited to what the proposal provides.

How to Answer “Tell Me About Yourself”

“Tell me about yourself” can be difficult to answer because candidates are trying to decide what to include, what to leave out and how to demonstrate their suitability without sounding rehearsed. The answer is not to memorise a speech; it is to understand the role, select relevant evidence and explain the connection between your background and the employer’s requirements. This guide gives graduates, career changers and experienced professionals a four-part structure they can adapt to their own circumstances, whether their strongest evidence comes from a first internship, an academic project, a period of volunteering or years of professional responsibility. Save the checklist before your next interview and share it with someone preparing for an opportunity.

Before You Advertise a Position, Settle These Five Things

A vacancy can attract hundreds of applications and still fail to produce the right shortlist, not because the labour market lacks capable people, but because the organisation has not adequately defined the work it needs someone to perform. When a hiring manager sends HR a job title, a list of general duties and an urgent request to advertise, the recruitment process may appear ready to begin, yet the questions that should govern the entire exercise remain unanswered: what must the successful candidate achieve, which capabilities are essential to those outcomes, and what evidence will demonstrate that the person selected can deliver them?
